Preschool

Our preschool is an early childhood program in which children combine learning with play in a program run by professionally trained teachers. We are committed to providing a well balanced, highly personalized education that promotes the development of the whole child. We enroll children between the ages of three and five. We offer morning and afternoon sessions where the emphasis is on learning and development.

We specialize in capturing the attention of children through fun, meaningful learning experiences. Our program provides developmentally appropriate activities for every child with a strong emphasis on social and emotional development, as these characteristics have proven to have a strong impact on a child cognitive development. Using exploration and discovery as a way of learning, it enables children to develop confidence, creativity, and lifelong critical thinking skills.

High Five

The High Five Program is a 5 day a week class that prepares each child for the critical transition from preschool to kindergarten. The program assures that each child will be ready for the academic and social challenges of the kindergarten classroom. Our weekly structured curriculum focuses on developing, sharpening, and reinforcing art, science, math, writing, reading and social skills. Our teachers help to strengthen each child’s decision making and self-help skills in a safe supportive classroom environment.

Mom’s Day Out

Our Mom’s Day Out Program is a great learning opportunity for your child and a worry-free time for parents. It allows parents of children ages 6 weeks to 5 years to have the time they need every week to get things done, or simply begin introducing their children to the world around them. We offer flexible part-time schedules.
Allowing your child to be part of a class with others their age will help them develop the social skills and motor skills they need to prepare for continued education. They will read stories, play games, do crafts, and get all the love and play time children their age needs. Lots of fun learning happens at Hearts & Minds!

Our age cut off is July 31st. Your child must be 3 or 4 before the start of our program.
